I specialize in natural light (daylight) headshots. Natural light is considered the best light in the world and the most flattering. Sessions take place at my casual warehouse studio or other location, indoors or out. All shoots are scheduled between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays and weekends.


Basic Actor Headshot Pkg: $195

• 2 looks
• 2-3 wardrobe changes.
• Private online gallery for selecting proofs.

All sessions are by appointment only. Sessions may be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance with no fee; wtihin 48 hours of shoot a $25 rescheduling fee is charged.

Session fees are due at the time of the appointment; cash, money order. PayPal accepted, but must be paid in full prior to session. Prices include sales tax.

Headshot PRINTS:

8x10" glossy photos with your name, border & agency logo (optional) included. Allow 5-7 days. Prices include sales tax. These are photo lab prints of the finest quality. Quantity prices shown are for multiples of same print, either color or black and white.

6-24 --- $2.50 per print
25-99 --- $2.00 per print
100-500 --- $1.50 per print

I also provide on-call prints in small quantities -- 1-5 prints ready in less than 24 hours. They are $15 each and are archival quality prints.

Extras & Options:

BORDER & NAME -- $15 A white border and your name are added to the image.

ADDITIONAL IMAGES FROM SHOOT -- $35 if ordered at same time as other final selections. If ordered at a later date, $50.

DUPLICATE CD -- $10 if ordered at same time as package. If ordered at a later date, $20.

TEST PRINT -- $15 This is a high-quality 8x10" injket print with archival inks, of your final image in black & white or color.

MAKEUP ARTIST/ HAIR STYLIST -- $50-125 Cash or Money Order, payable to stylist.


FAQ:

What is “natural light” photography?
This is where the photographer makes use of the best light in the world: sunlight. I work with indirect sunlight, also called "diffused" light. It lights you up without washing you out, and gives the best skin tones and most natural appearance.

What do you mean by “location”?
I like to shoot at my casual warehouse location which serves as a natural light studio and produces fantastic results. I also shoot outdoors or indoors in natural settings, wherever there’s good light and backgrounds. A location could be a favorite outdoor spot such as at a park or somewhere downtown. I have some favorite indoor and outdoor locations I like to use. Fun fact: one of the top headshot photographers in L.A. works out of his garage using natural light!

What kinds of headshots do you take?
At present I'm mainly doing COMMERCIAL and THEATRICAL/FILM, and some BUSINESS and glamour. For commercial and theatrical/film type headshots it is critical we capture you as you really look every day. For most actors a solid face shot rather than a 3/4 body shot is highly recommended since the face is the most important consideration; but I am happy to shoot 3/4 body shots on request. When you schedule a session I'll email you some tips & guidelines to help you prepare for your session.




How long is a session and how many shots will you take?
It varies. Some people take a while to warm up, some can nail it quickly. Some sessions only take 30 minutes while others last up to one hour. I take as many shots as I need to get the right look. I stop frequenty and show the images to clients on screen to ensure we're on target. Our goal is to get dynamite headshots and have fun doing it.

When will I see proofs and have my final headshots?
Proofs are ready within 24 to 48 hours. You'll be provided with a URL to your private online gallery. Once you've made your selections the final images will be ready in 24 to 48 hours for your approval. Once approved they will be ready later that same day or the following day. If additional adjustments and retouching is requested the final images will be ready in 24-48 hours.

How do I get prints of my headshots?
I offer the service of providing the highest quality headshot prints in quantities of 50, 100 or 200. These are 8" x 10" glossy lab prints, with a border and your name included. These take 5-7 days for delivery from date of order. I can provide you with the names of local and online sources if you prefer to have your own prints made.
